Abby embarked on her yogic path while an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin. Though she explored a variety of yoga styles, she eventually found a teacher that not only appealed to her interest in science, through the study of anatomy and physiology but also introducing her to a way of exploring spirituality that was inclusive and concerned with cultivating a quiet mind as a way of understanding the universal issues of life. Whether teaching on the anatomy of yoga and its therapeutic applications or leading students through a breath-centered asana class, Abby experiences continued joy and amazement in yoga's ability to bring healing to the body and peace to the mind.
