One definition of tantra is to weave the realms of the spiritual and material worlds together. Vinyasa comes from the sanskrit word nyasa (to place) and the prefix vi (in a special way). Therefore, as we practice Tantric Vinyasa, we move, breath, and meditate in a certain way to create a desired effect as we move toward Self-realization.
Based on Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga, Fannie’s Tantric Vinyasa classes are a holistic approach to modern yoga. In these 90 minutes sessions, dynamic asana is woven with pranayama, visualization, chanting, bandhas, and meditation as a way to increase the flow of prana (life force) and shift your internal energy.
If you change your energy, you will change the way you think, and therefore affect the way you live.
